CV Screening for non profit volunteers - Houston, TX

Approximately 50 dedicated volunteers of a non profit were meticulously screened for various cardiovascular risk factors, ensuring a thorough assessment of their overall health and well-being.


Food Drive - Atlanta, GA

Home-cooked meals are currently being provided for more than 150 individuals who are living in various homeless shelters located in downtown Atlanta. These nourishing and warm meals aim to not only support the community in need but also address the dual challenges of hunger and isolation. By sharing food, we emphasize the importance of bringing the community together, fostering connections, and promoting a sense of belonging.


Teen Cardiac Screening Event - Davis, CA

Love to Share Volunteers supported the Kyle J Taylor Foundation, UC Davis, and Project ADAM in conducting an important screening event that was hosted at Harper Junior High School in Davis. Project ADAM plays a vital role in assisting schools, sporting programs, and various community sites in becoming Heart Safe environments. This initiative connects the community with the essential resources needed to effectively respond during those critical first minutes following a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, ultimately enhancing safety and preparedness in local settings.


Blood Donation & Auction for LA Wildfire Relief - Tampa, FL

A blood donation drive was held in Tampa, Florida, bringing together community members in a collective effort to support those in need. In addition to this important initiative, a silent auction was organized to raise funds for relief efforts in response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, California.


Food Drive - Atlanta, GA

There’s no greater joy than seeing a genuine smile on the face of someone you’ve nourished and cared for. Our dedicated Atlanta LTSFA team had the heartfelt privilege of serving warm, home-cooked meals to approximately 120 individuals in the welcoming environment of Woodruff Park, in the heart of downtown Atlanta.


Monthly Walks - Houston, TX

We are pleased to announce our collaboration with the world-renowned Walk-with-A-Doc organization. Together, we organized a series of engaging walks during the months of February and March. These events were aimed at raising awareness about vital health issues such as heart health and colorectal cancer, and took place at the beautiful Tom Bass Park in Houston.


Nurturing Empathic Connections - Parenting Workshop

Love to Share Foundation America held a six-week parenting workshop from Jan 18th to Feb 22nd, 2025, titled ‘Nurturing Empathic Connections with Your Child.’ The workshop was based on Pam Leo's book ‘Connection Parenting,’ with Leo as a guest speaker for two sessions, discussing the importance of early connections and play. Other speakers included Darcia Narvaez, Natalia Wiatr, Pavithra Giridharan, Vaishanvi Sundararaman, and M.K. Ramanujam. Topics covered included supportive strategies for special needs children, sleep management, nurturing the inner child, understanding developmental needs, building self-esteem, and setting boundaries.


Fundraiser for LA wildfire relief - Tampa, FL

A fundraiser was organized at a local event in Tampa specifically aimed at supporting the victims of the devastating fires that occurred in Los Angeles. This gathering brought together community members to raise awareness and collect donations to restart and rebuild lives for those affected by this tragic situation.


Food Aid for Students Impacted by Hurricane Milton -Tampa, FL

Hurricane Milton, one of the most powerful hurricanes to strike the Florida peninsula, caused significant destruction, including tornadoes, loss of life, and over $30 million in damages. In response to this devastating event, LTSFA Tampa organized a food relief activity on October 12 and 13, 2024, to support students affected by Hurricane Milton. Approximately 40 dedicated volunteers collaborated to prepare and distribute meals to students in need at the University of South Florida. This compassionate effort provided assistance to approximately 300 students who were facing limited access to basic necessities and were stranded in residential communities due to flooding.


Food drive - Orlando, FL

A food drive was organized in collaboration with the Hindu Society of Central Florida. This initiative took place in Orlando, Florida, January 2025. Our goal was to gather essential food items to support those in need within our community and promote a spirit of giving during this important time.


Holiday Cheer with Mahamantra - Glen Allen, VA

The VA chapter organized a heartfelt performance at the senior home known as Our Lady of Hope, located in Glen Allen, Virginia, during the festive holiday season.


Chess Tournament - Boston, MA

Love to Share Foundation of America hosted a chess tournament featuring four rounds and 14 participants of all ages. A few middle schoolers assisted with setting up the event. The tournament was conducted by Mohanakrishnan Narayanan, who managed the pairings and monitoring. Parents greatly appreciated the initiative and expressed interest in having similar tournaments on a monthly basis.
